Refund policy
Return Policy: All sales of good original, special order, custom order, and rebuilt goods are non-refundable. No returns on electrical components. New, and reproduction goods are subject to a 25% restocking fee. No refunds on shipping, merchant, or bank fees. All part sales are sold “as is”. NO express or implied warranties for merchantability. Rebuilt parts are not guaranteed to fix intended issues. Inspection of all goods is required before installation in order to consider a return. We do our best to provide parts and services for classic cars, but due to the nature of automotive restoration, even New Old Stock (NOS) parts can degenerate, and not function after decades of being untouched, let alone dealing with components that have been used. Rebuilt items are rebuilt depending on specific services to the year, make, and model. Reproduction and remanufactured items are not guaranteed to fit perfectly - modifications/adjustments may need to be made. Special order items cannot be canceled once the order is in process and if cancellation is needed, you must call and speak to the owner on a case by case basis.
This warranty does not cover parts that fail as a result of improper installation, misuse, abuse, or the failure of another part. Parts modified for use or installed for uses other than their original design and application have no warranty. Warranties do not cover miscellaneous expenses for removal, installation, service, towing or downtime, nor do they cover material, labor, or additional parts required for replacement or repair of damages caused by abuse (including fire or wreckage), misuse, neglect, or failure to follow manufacturer's operating and/or installation instructions.
We are not responsible for lost or damaged items that were not shipped by us. Any claim must be made by the shipper and carrier used and any other authorities/agencies. We strongly encourage adding insurance in an amount satisfactory to recover the item(s)’ value(s). We are not responsible for items that were damaged as a result of improper or insufficient packaging. Regarding returns- we will inspect the item(s) and if any are missing components, are damaged or worn beyond repair, will we provide a reasonable amount of credit. This applies to core charges and returns. Any items that are returned due to non-delivery, insufficient address provided, or other reason that resulted through no fault of our own will incur additional shipping charges if we were charged by the carrier. Customers are responsible for shipping costs associated with shipping a core to us unless otherwise noted.
If you receive a part that is damaged during shipment, you must notify us within 10 days of receiving your package. We will need pictures of the damaged part as well as the package/packaging in which the order was shipped in order to file an insurance claim for you. If provided sufficiently, we will remedy the issue depending on the order and item- either by refund, credit, or replacement. If you receive a part that is incorrect from what was ordered, you must notify us within 10 days of receiving your package. If provided sufficiently, we will remedy the issue depending on the order and item - either by refund, credit, or replacement. We will cover return shipping if the error was our fault.
Any disputes that cannot be settled in mutually agreeable terms will be settled by an arbitrator with automotive restoration or relevant experience to be selected and determined acceptable by both parties to be disputed in the State of New York, County of Dutchess.
